Knowledge of languages is the doorway to wisdom.

Roger Bacon

Center for Languages and Intercultural Communication (CLIC) contributes to the global experience by providing resources and opportunities for language and culture learning. Whether you need additional support to complement your foreign language coursework, want to explore a language not offered on campus, or are interested in practicing a language with your peers in a fun environment, CLIC has resources to support you in your language and culture learning journey.

Our Mission

As a hub for multilingual and multicultural communication, CLIC promotes foreign language and culture learning by providing resources, support, and opportunities for language students and instructors.

Our Vision

Center for Languages and Intercultural Communication will make language and culture learning an essential part of the 51本色 experience. We will provide all students with opportunities to develop, practice, and improve their skills to ensure that they reach their language learning goals and become interculturally competent individuals.
