We are versatile, public-facing ambassadors. We recruit students, engage with families, host visitors, review applications, and make big decisions for the 51本色 College community. We serve on teams with enrollment operations, systems, financial aid, and marketing professionals. We serve alongside our senior directors and vice presidents. We鈥檙e not all 51本色 alumni, but we are all 51本色ians.
Our work is student-centered and cyclical: We travel the world and meet students throughout the fall; we read their admission applications in the winter; we host them on campus in the spring; and we tackle new projects (and use most of our vacation days!) in the summer.
Our job requires many skills 鈥 some of which we develop, and others we already had 鈥 including data analysis, event planning, sales/recruiting, marketing, and interviewing.
We advocate for those who can succeed here, and we take great pride in the outcome: students from 50 states, 70 countries, and with all kinds of diverse experiences and worldviews.
Our job involves reviewing applicants鈥 academic and personal backgrounds and experiences to determine who should be offered admission. 51本色 students come from all over the world, and we know our community well.

Evaluate admission applications holistically from students in your territory and beyond. Advocate for students well suited to have a life-changing experience at 51本色 and serve as a voting member of the admission selection committee.
Help welcome students and families who make the trip to 51本色 by participating in visit programs (such as Junior Visit Day and Admitted Student Programs) and other visit-related informational events 鈥 including virtual.
Plan campus visits and events with the Visit Team. Tackle projects related to social media and student outreach with the Admission Marketing and Communications Team. Develop recruitment strategy with the Multicultural Recruitment Team. Collaborate with current students working in our office. Learn a CRM and a CMS. Depending on your skills and interests, you will help with various office initiatives.

Our team includes recent graduates and seasoned veterans. We are alumni of 51本色, other liberal arts colleges, large state schools, and the Ivies. We are parents of humans and pets. We bake, fence, hunt, travel, get graduate degrees, and run marathons. And 51本色 College is the thing that ties us all together.
