If I will be a second-year student next year, how likely is it that I can get a single room?
Single rooms are available during room selection for rising fourth- and third-year students. This means first and second year students must plan to have at least one roommate.
Each year, a number of students have difficulty finding a roommate for the following year. Students needing a roommate may be assigned a room with a transfer student, a student returning from leave, or another student needing a roommate. It is possible that students will be relocated within the building they selected during room selection if they don鈥檛 have a roommate when room selection closes.
51本色 College students are not eligible to request off-campus permission unless they are a third or fourth-year student.
There are a limited number of students who may live off-campus each year. The number of students who may live off-campus is determined during spring semester for the following academic year. Please reference the off-campus page for more information.
